Things I love about my husband #4

He expects everything he purchases to be of the highest quality. Which can be a good or a bad thing. For example, he's really picky about food and when things don't meet his standards he complains, but when they are good he gets really, really excited (to the point of being obnoxious and I have to tell him, lovingly of course, to shut up).

His "pickyness" has made me appreciate the finer things in life. I eat better now that we're together. I know what a good tomato tastes like! I drink better coffee. I have products and technology in my house that work very well (and didn't cost a whole lot).

And to top it all off, his pickyness makes me feel pretty good about myself. He must think I'm pretty awesome if he chose me to be his wife right? Right.

Actually, there's nothing picky about expecting to get decent products in exchange for money. By buying crap I would be supporting crappy craftsmen and lazy service providers which in return would take business away from people that can actually do their job - so you call it pickyness - I call free choice and consumer responsibility.

We need more of this sensible, Bulgarian immigrant approach to the marketplace.
